My arrival and transition to DC life have been both smooth and enjoyable. Jonathan has been a wonderful host (it helps to stay with a professional tour guide and Luthern church-basement lady).
I've seen the location of the new apartment, only a few blocks from the Pentagon. It's all lit up for the memorial at the moment. In true American style, there is a light show every night.
I just finished my interview about an hour ago. Thanks for all the calls and emails, I think (and hope) it went quite well. I will have an answer in the next 24 hours.
Consider this my return to the blog for now, and I'll post more when I know more.
