Year of the baby

Last weekend I was one of the wise men. Complete with myrrh from Egypt, I made a pilgrimage to see a new baby boy. Ok, so he is Erik instead of Jesus, and he wasn't born in a barn, but he is damn cute.

It seems that everyone I know, no matter what the configuration, is getting hitched and having babies. I have pondered if it is just the age I am at, but not all of my recently wed and newborn wielding friends are the same age. I think there must have been something in the air last fall that got people going.

The babies are flying in left and right, I can hardly keep up. Congrats to all the new parents and recently betrothed. From what I've seen so far, the new generation is adorable. I'll make it to the weddings whenever I can. Just one question: where are you registered again?
