Chilly chicken dry or souce

Today Physics and I gave up. After sweating half of my body weight away in Mona's sauna last night (pictures forthcoming), we got an AC room in Pahar Ganj for the night. It's amazing what you'll put up with before sharing the $10 it costs to stay in a chilly room with a refrigerator and room service. I think it was worth it, despite the fact that it is much cooler today than it has been the past few days.

The mercury hasn't climbed that much more in the past few days, but I now have a much greater appreciation for the difference between dry heat and humid heat. I can't remember ever sweating that much. I'm impressed by Mona's perseverance in simmering pasta sauce all of yesterday afternoon and making us chai even after we were all dripping sweat. She makes damn good chai, and it was the first time I have eaten cow in months. Imported from Germany.

We're wasting the day playing on our computers and watching movies from the mid-80s (Game over, man!). Hopefully I'll be recharged and ready to face the heat again. Maybe the monsoons are on their way.
