Random thoughts

Just a few random ramblings to get out there:

I was looking over the site statistics from last month, and they are a bit interesting. The average traffic more than doubled between January and February, with more than 20 unique visitors per day... hmm, I should write some more interesting posts than I have been. Also, the countries of origin are quite varied: Saudi Arabia, Canada, France, Ireland, Mexico, Thailand... In all, 35 countries. Any of you foreigners care to identify yourselves? Lastly, thank you Amanda, for making "diphallasparatus" a search term that returns my blog on some of the search engines. It appears to be quite popular, and is moving my site up in the rankings.

Delhi is really starting to warm up. Last week was the week. I now leave in the morning without even thinking about wearing something long-sleeve. The jacket is hanging in the closet, and the scarf is packed away for the summer. I'm looking forward to these balmy few weeks before the real heat sets in. I can walk around at night and not see my breath. How refreshing.

My German is coming along surprisingly well. I feel like I am learning more here than I did in Freiburg. I'm hoping this gives me enough of a base so that I can actually converse in German and hopefull improve once I get back. Also, I'm supplementing our four-a-week courses with some online training, mostly at Deutsche Welle. I'll be walking around for weeks giggling "Ex ist meine name, ich bin eine dame..."

Some crazy news lately... Martha is set to be freed. Jacko-Wacko is actually in court. Bubba is being saved. Paris Hilton is exposed (again). Oh, and then there's all that less-important stuff going on in Syria, Iran, North Korea, and pretty much everywhere else in the world. Hmph.
