I hand-delivered an internship application today. It was for the Centre for Civil Society here in Delhi. It is "An independent think tank for a freer India." It sounds like their work is interesting, and I'm feeling kinda good about this one. After my disappointing visit to UNICEF last week and sending my application off to them Monday, and my less-than-72-hour-rejection from Shell, an internship I wasn't even interested in, I'm really starting to panic. I've even started offering fresh-baked cookies for help in the search...
The plus side of this one, the time constraints are fairly limited, so I may be able to make a trip home for a bit this summer. Cross your fingers...
