Racial preference

The most popular gay bar here, the Roman Lounge, has just increased its cover from R10 to R30. This may seem insignificant, but it sucks. The way around it is to get a membership. Then you only have to pay the R10. Conveniently, they offer memberships at the door. Unfortunately, they are 'selective' about who they give them to.

I'm not going to make any conclusions, I'll let you do that. When Mark asked for memberships for he and I last night (he's been going there for years and applied before), the door-dyke said she had handed out her limit for the night. When I asked a few seconds later, she gladly gave me one (and reluctantly gave Mark one as well). Hmm, I wonder what that was all about?
