Frohe Frühling

I just rebuilt the website for the month, so there is a big, naked September calendar over there waiting to get filled up. Hopefully I can get some enticing posts, as you guys didn't read nearly as much in August as you did in July.

It is the 1st of September, and in the Southern Hemisphere that makes it the first day of spring. The birds are twitter-twitting, and if the blue-balled monkeys get any more cheeky-horny I'll be afraid to leave my room.

I'm also starting to plan my next big trip. I have 12 days at the end of September, and I'm hoping to get away for some of it. I may try and make Terri & George proud by doing the Giant's Cup. Five days of hiking in the Drakensberg, scaling Cathedral Peak and spending the nights in native huts. I hope to squeeze in a trip to Lesotho also.

So, welcome spring and happy September to all of you Northerners.
