Plot your politics, darlings. Take this test and find out where you fall on a coordinate grid of money vs. social views.
I landed as:
Economic Left/Right: -5.38
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.97
I'm surprised I didn't land more leftward on the economic scale, but otherwise I'm not too surprised.
Check out the US Presidental Primaries link. See, all of the candidates really are in the same corner.

Can someone explain to me why the more progressive or "Leftist" values are represented as NEGATIVE numbers and all the conservative values are POSITIVE? Makes me wonder who created the test...

I flip-flopped Amanda:
Economic Left/Right: -6.12
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.54
Very near the likes of Gandhi, Mandela, and the Dalai Lama. I'd say that's a pretty proud place for me to stand.

I venture to guess I am not as impassioned on some of these issues as the two of you. Interesting test. I am willing to bet that since the negative numbers always fall on the left of a scale, this is a coincidence, but based on how they spelled penalise, it might be some antagonist in the UK.
