I have a huge entry prepared on my computer, and as soon as I can get that connected, I will post everything about my trip and first impressions of South Africa. For now, this will just have to do. I only have three minutes.
Everything on campus is protected my 15-foot barbed wire, and I need a swipe card to move anywhere. It's a little strange. But, campus is beautiful and you can see the beaches and the Indian Ocean from the library. That's just mean.

I await your entry with bated breath. what is all the security about? the orange security level here has people going crazy, but can you imagine americans giving into the security precautions that others around the world take?
sub-tropical weather sounds quite pleasant now. you wouldn't be missing boston - it's like 90 degrees and muggy today.
p.s. stinky just ate a fly. i don't know why.
