After a heck of a party last night, I was surprised so many people showed up today to go hiking in Kaiserstuhl. I guess the beautiful weather really brought them out. I think there were about a dozen of us that went hiking through the beautiful wine country about 15 minutes east of Freiburg.
The view from the top of the mountain was gorgeous, and the terraced vineyards went on for miles (kilometers). I know, I keep promising pictures. I need to get an efficient system to do that. Suggestions?
After the hiking, I went over to Judith's to help her unpack her apartment. We had pineapple and tunafish pizza (I was a skeptic at first, too). My first impressions were right. I stayed for hours and we talked.
I stolled home along the river through our Kurpark. Everything is starting to bloom, the flowers smell wonderful, and the trees are turning greener every day.
