This is the first day since I got here that I have had time to stay in. I was able to do my laundry, spend about an hour in the pool, have a relaxing dinner with Mike, Ina, and Scott, and catch up on some blog-reading.
The folks at Boing Boing have been up to their old tricks, and there is plenty of good material posted this week. Make sure and check out the Sideblog. I knew that Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes had some "interesting" ideas, but I never knew they were as interesting as:

I haven't caught much of the news of late, so I'm not very up-to-date on pop culture. I've only filled the time which used to be spent in front of the television listening to past episodes of This American Life. The one about what you wish you'd said was particularly entertaining.
I felt like this travel-blog thing could take its toll on the entertainment and blogness value, so I'll try and post some interesting finds from time to time to keep you less bored. Also, I'll be returning next week to PhotoMonday and RantThursday. Be sure to check the gallery page for a weekly slideshow.

Thanks for the postings, It's a good feeling to know I can log on and get inside your head for a few minutes. I can't convey how jealous I am of the ease in which you can trot about county hopping. I am on my way as soon as I get the all clear signal!
Can't imagine that you will have time to post nearly everyday but I've been enjoying looking over your shoulder. Your interactions with the folks you will be dealing/living with for the next several months sounds exhausting in itself.
Are you keeping a journal that you can use to write your first book?
