Know the facts

So I wasn't worried about my Lasik. Perhaps it was a mistake not knowing much about it before going in, but then again, perhaps it wasn't. I was in a good deal of pain for a few hours this afternoon, but it was nothing a little leftover Vicadin wouldn't fix.

I looked like Jack Nicholson on the way home, dark sunglasses and all, but my vision had already improved by the time I had gotten to the parking lot. Not a bad deal if you ask me.

The entire procedure took about five minutes, from the time I was in the pre-op room to the recovery chair. I could feel them suction cup my eyeball, cut the cornea, then zap-zap-zap-wipe. Rinse and repeat, and I was done. Yep, that simple.
