Sex and The City has reached an all-time pinnacle. The sixth season started out amazing, full of Charlotte-come-Liz-Taylor moments and Samantha Jones' sexually liberating behavior, but it only gets better.
Last night's episode instantly became a favorite. Miranda is now hitched, Carrie is falling deeper, and Samantha is going through something that will undoubtedly change her free-wheeling outlook on life. So where can it go from here?
To help you sort it all out, here are my (loose) predicitions for the close of the series (tear):
First off, Charlotte is gonna get her baby. It's the last monumental thing that we're going to see her character go through, and it's going to happen soon.
Samantha has had a lot of "epiphanies" lately when it comes to Smith, and those will continue. She's going to find that she can count on him when she needs it, but the girls are going to be her primary support. She'll stay with him but continue to insist on a certain amount of "independence." It's only realistic.
Miranda is finally coming into her own. She and Steve are going to hit at least one more big bump in the road, but they'll settle things. Things are stable for her now, and she's going to drop some of her cynicism (but not all of it) and support her friends.
Carrie is a wash. Will she end up with the romantic Russian, or will Big come back and sweep her off her feet? I'm going to go with none of the above. We won't see any certainty in her love life at the close of the series, just the way it needs to end.
So that's it. As far as interactions between them, I think the dialogue will get more intimate and personal. We'll see even more interactions like the great one at the end of Sunday's episode. Hope I'm right, or this will all look very foolish. Ta.

You are so gay, Mark.
agreed. but for real, as a dyke who has been watching this show with my fave faggot for a few years now... i must say that the characters this year have actually got some shape to them - they aren't two dimensional anymore. It's just too bad that all this came about while the show is in its final throes!
it will certainly be an end of an era.
That must be the problem. Having gone to a women's college, I heard of this show from the straight chicks all the time. I watched it once or twice and thought, "uh. Why?"
